Are you lot able to play other Xbox one games that require gilt? What about Games with Golden? There'due south been some mulitplayer ones that have been given out I'm sure.
My thought would be to come across if you lot tin can play those games that require gold (e.g. CoD Multiplayer of some sort). If that works, so I'd effort contacting Fortnite support to see if there'due south something incorrect on their finish.

The newest game I've installed is Realm Royale. And it works, but its a F2P game and I'm not certain if it requires XBL Gold like Fortnite does. That's sorta been what I've been trying to break downward, but dont have an easily testable solution.
Recently I've verified Shadow of Mordor through gamepass, and my own hard re-create of Fallout 4. I practise have Diablo 3 but didn't remember it required XBL Gold. I stopped testing seperate games when I duplicated the outcome on some other Panel, but I can test when I get home again.

That'southward the determination I came to as well, just tin't call from work and take a few more hours before I go habitation and tin brand that call. For some reason chat is just not working at all these last 2 days for me.
I'k not too worried now, I but got plenty through Microsoft Rewards that I can purchase a one month XBL Gold Digital Lawmaking, and can put that on a second account on my Xbox that I haven't used in a good while.
